Men from the Ogun State Police Command arrested both Adetunji Alagbe and Opeyemi Ogunlokun on July 5 for stealing a Sala ram belonging to a certain Sodiq Abolore.
The suspect was arrested after Sodiq Abolore filed a report at the Ogijo department headquarters, which said he heard an unusual noise around his yard while he was sleeping at home around 3am, prompting him to peek through a window Only to find that the iron gate he used to block the entrance to his Salah ram had been taken down.
Abolore said this prompted him to come out and find the sallah ram he bought for #120,000 no longer exists.
He further said that when he looked around, he saw three men force his crash into a waiting Mazda booth, prompting him to sound the alarm and call 911.
Three were pursued, two of them were arrested and the other fled.
State Police Command spokesman DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident and said the ram had been recovered and the two suspects had been taken into custody.
