West Ham protector, Kurt Zouma has been banned from keeping pussycats for five times and handed 180 hours of community service for remonstrating and slighting his pet cat.

The French footballer was also ordered to pay nearly£ in court costs.

Disturbing footage of the incident, mugged at Zouma's home and posted on Snapchat by his family, Yoan, surfaced in February. In the videotape, he kicks the Bengal cat across his kitchen before throwing a brace of shoes at it and slighting its head.

His family, 24, latterly transferred the videotape to a woman he'd been communicating who raised the alarm. He was ordered to carry out 140 hours of community service.

Zouma, 27, admitted two counts of causing gratuitous suffering to a defended beast by remonstrating it in the tummy and slighting it on the head at Thames Adjudicators' Court last week.

Hazel Stevens, for the execution, said Kurt Zouma could be heard in the videotape saying" I swear I will kill it, I swear I will kill it."

Ms Stevens said the 40-alternate clip appeared to have been recorded after the pussycats were criticized for damaging a president.

Kurt Zouma is determined to chastise or carry out some kind of retaliation for the damage caused," she said.

Ms Stevens added that the youthful woman who first saw the footage was so appalled that she cancelled a date with Yoan, saying" I do not suppose hitting a cat like that's OK- do not bother coming moment."

Following the verdict, a West Ham statement read" West Ham United can confirm that Kurt Zouma has been handed a community service order following an disquisition by the RSPCA.

" West Ham United wishes to make clear that we condemn in the strongest terms any form of beast abuse or atrocity. This type of geste is inferior and isn't in line with the values of the football club.

" Within 48 hours of the footage arising, we fined Kurt the outside available to the club.

" Every single penny of this plutocrat is now with a number of meritorious charities, all devoted to beast weal.

" Kurt admitted at the foremost occasion that what he did was wrong. He has apologised without reservation.

" We hope that now the court has reached its decision, everyone will allow Kurt the chance to learn from his mistake and move on."

In a statement, RSPCA principal inspectorate officer Dermot Murphy said" We hope this case will serve as a memorial that all creatures earn to be treated with kindness, compassion and respect, and that we won't tolerate atrocity by anybody."
