Bhagavan “ Doc ” Antle, the tone- stylized practitioner who gained attention for his turn in the popular Netflix docuseries Tiger King, was on Friday June 3, arrested by FBI agents in South Carolina.

Antle, who was a magician before he innovated his first private zoo, now owns and runs Myrtle Beach Safari which features big pussycats and other exposed species, is being held on unidentified charges, according to sheriff records.

The arrest is Antle’s rearmost distraction with law enforcement, following his charge on wildlife trafficking, beast atrocity and other charges in late 2020. The charge came after a months-long disquisition conducted by the Animal Law Unit of Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring’s office. Two of Antle’s daughters were also charged with violating the Exposed Species Act and atrocity to creatures as a result of the charge.

In addition to Antle’s legal straits, allegations of sexual misconduct and raptorial geste , much of it from women both preliminarily employed and romantically engaged with Antle, led him to earn his own Tiger King derivation talkie, released in 2021.

Activists cheered his rearmost arrest in a statement to The Post. A statement released by Marty Irby, administrative director of Animal Wellness Action, read;

“ We hail theDept. of Justice and FBI for arresting Bhagavan ‘ Doc ’ Antle, a longtime scoundrel engaged in the obvious and inhuman trade of dangerous big pussycats.

“ reckless parentage, inhuman living conditions, and public exploitation is a serious problem in theU.S., and boxing these wild creatures also presents a trouble to mortal health and safety."
