Some markswomen on Sunday morning attackedSt. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, headquaters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, killing over 50 members of the congregation, during the church service.
It was gathered that no smaller than 50 corses have been moved out of the church with numerous casualties lying at the Federal Medical Center, Owo, for medical attention
Added that the markswomen also used some snares within the emulsion of the church but said utmost of the people were hit with shots.
The perpetrators were said to have fled the scene incontinently they carried out the payoff, leaving numerous people dead.
